Namib Fisheries Limited established, operating as pilchard cannery and fish meal plant.
1958
Company registered as Karibib Visserye Beperk.
1991
Company name changed to Karibib Fisheries Limited.
1991
First freezer vessels acquired: Pescapuerta No. 2 (Katima) and Pescapuerta No. 3 (Oshakati).
2003
Celebrated 50 years of operations in the fishing industry.
2004
Name changed from Karibib Fisheries Limited to Tunacor Fisheries Ltd.
2014
Became 100% Namibian owned.
2014
Fortitude Fishing established.
2017
Tunacor South Africa established.
2017
Oshiveli was acquired.
2018
Acquisition of MFV Katuka and MFV Tatekulu Andimba Toivo Ya Toivo.
2020
Tutungeni was acquired.

Inauguration of the new Namsov land based (HM) Factory.
